Shimmer Community Treasury: Grant Reviewer Application

• Some applications received already
• Will be open minimum 2 weeks
• Poll for ph2 could be first week of December
  • Should be announced in the community to try to engage as many as possible
• Firefly vote and decision expected to be finalized just before Christmas

Shimmer Governance Framework

• The most important points of the governance framework should be summarized in bullet points for an infographic
• We don’t want to overburden the community with votes
  • Many votes are will happen in Firefly once voting is available:
    • Shimmer Governance Framework
    • Shimmer Community Grant Committee
    • Selection for the Shimmer Community Grant Committee
    • Vote on Dom’s proposal reg. Growth Committee
  • The Shimmer Governance Framework could be put up as a vote later, i.e., not immediately when voting becomes available in Firefly
  • The first season could be started with a vote
• The different versions will be added to GitHub to have version history and change log
  • Phylo to add the first version from the forum (shared in August) and the second version as a draft

Legal entity for the DAO

• A Marshall Islands DAO could be owner of the Swiss LLC
  • Would give some benefits such as enabling moving out the Tangle ecosystem from the subsidiary relation with the GmbH
  • Phylo and Anja to discuss details with Swiss lawyers
